The Greenwich Foundation for the Old Royal Naval College is continuing with its restoration of the formal landscape established by Philip Hardwick in 1860. Lawns and paths have been re-instated and College Way relaid. The next phase, beginning on Monday, 2nd October, involves felling a number of trees on the perimeter of the site in order to preserve the buildings and historic railings. An equal number of trees will be planted around the site to replace those trees being lost.

The Royal Gate will be closed but the Romney Road Gate will remain open. Access to the Painted Hall and Chapel for visitors with disabilities will be slightly restricted, please call 020 8269 4799 and we can advise you on best access.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
